Examination & Evaluation

At Lisieux School, academic excellence is regarded as one of our core values. We follow a rigorous, systematic, and student-centred evaluation process to ensure that every learner progresses steadily and develops a deep understanding of the subjects.

Regular Class Tests and Monthly Assessments are conducted to monitor the academic growth of students and to provide timely feedback for improvement. In addition, students are required to complete and submit monthly assignments, which help foster independent learning, research skills, creativity, and consistency in study habits.

To qualify in the written examinations, students are expected to secure a minimum of 60% marks. However, our evaluation process extends beyond written examinations and includes a comprehensive internal assessment system.

The internal assessment considers:

  •  Assignments and project work
  •  Discipline and behaviour
  •  Attendance and punctuality
  •  Class participation and attentiveness
  •  Maintenance of notebooks and records
  •  Library reading and summary writing

Our objective is not merely to evaluate academic performance, but to encourage the holistic development of every student. Through this integrated approach, we aim to cultivate intellectual growth, responsibility, self-discipline, confidence, and a genuine love for learning.
