Rules & Regulations

Discipline is an integral part of the learning process. 

 Prayers must be said with respect and devotion. 

 Every pupil must possess a copy of the school diary (Lisieux Almanac) and bring it to school every day. 

 The prescribed school uniform is compulsory on all working days. Students are expected to come to school neat and tidy. 

 Only English should be spoken within the school premises. Tamil should be spoken only during the Tamil period. 

 All students are expected to be present on the school campus before the warning bell at 8:35 a.m.

 Strict discipline must be maintained within the school campus. Playing inside classrooms is strictly prohibited. 

 While moving from one class to another, students should walk silently and in an orderly line. 

 No student should enter the classroom after the lesson has begun or leave the class without the teacher’s permission. 

 Students who are absent or arrive late will be permitted into class only with the Principal’s approval. If a student is absent for more than two consecutive days, he/she must meet the Principal with a leave letter or medical certificate. 

 A written application for leave should be submitted at least one day in advance using the prescribed format. 

 No student should remain absent from a class without prior intimation. If there is a valid reason, permission must be obtained from the concerned teacher. 

 Students should not disturb other classes during study hours on trivial excuses such as borrowing stationery items. 

 Attendance at all official school functions is compulsory. 

 Irregular attendance, repeated failure to submit classwork, habitual indiscipline, or serious misconduct may result in dismissal from the school. 

 No student is permitted to leave the school premises during school hours without the permission of the Principal. 

 No books other than school textbooks, newspapers, or periodicals should be brought to school without the knowledge of the Principal. 

 Every student must show respect and courtesy towards all members of the staff, in keeping with the noble traditions of society. 

 Students must behave properly at all times, both inside and outside the school campus. Loud shouting or whistling within the premises is not allowed. 

 Students should neither borrow nor lend money, nor exchange personal belongings. 

 Students must respect school property. Damaging furniture, writing on walls, scratching desks or chairs, or spoiling any property is strictly prohibited. Any damage caused must be compensated. Students should also respect others’ belongings. Playing in classrooms is prohibited. 

 The school is not responsible for lost items. Students are not permitted to bring valuables such as expensive watches, gold ornaments, or similar items to school. 

 Giving alms to beggars inside the school campus is not permitted. 

 Students must ensure that their hair is neatly trimmed and maintained according to the guidelines prescribed in the school diary. 

 Three languages and Computer Science will be taught from Grade I onwards

 Computer practical sessions will also be conducted from Grade I onwards. (No retest will be conducted for practical examinations.)

 No student will be allowed to go home during school hours without a gate pass, and the student must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. 

 Students should bring lunch from home. They are not permitted to go home for lunch. Parents are also requested not to bring lunch during lunchtime. 

 All correspondence addressed to students is subject to inspection by the school authorities. 

 All students are expected to actively participate in school activities, develop a healthy competitive spirit, cultivate leadership qualities, and learn the value of service. 

 Visitors may meet the Principal only with prior appointment.
